Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić said today in Rome, at the Ukraine recovery Conference 2025, that our country consistently supports peace, international public law and the UN Charter.
Speaking at a meeting focused on coordinating efforts to rebuild Ukraine after the war devastation, Đurić emphasised that Serbia will be at every place where there is talk about how to help civilians who are suffering.
For us it is very important to remember that Ukraine also helped us rebuild our energy network after the bombing and aggression against our country in 1999, the Minister underlined.
In a statement to the media, the Serbian Foreign Minister also highlighted the importance of Serbia's presence at international gatherings such as this one, noting that he met with numerous high-ranking officials, including President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, and US Special Envoy for the Resolution of the Conflict between Russia and Ukraine Keith Kellogg.
I conveyed Serbia's readiness, in addition to our commitment to peace, to host public, private, informal, and any kind of talks that can contribute to resolving the conflict, that is, the war that is taking place in the territory of Ukraine, the Minister said.
