The Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have organised the safe return of our citizens evacuated from Israel, who arrived in Belgrade on a special Air Serbia flight from Sharm el-Sheikh.

State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Damjan Jović travelled to Egypt to provide the necessary assistance to our citizens during this emergency evacuation.
He explained that the evacuation of 38 people, most of whom are Serbian nationals, from the State of Israel was carried out last night, first by land to the Egyptian border, and then to the airport in Sharm el-Sheikh, where representatives of our state took them over in cooperation with Air Serbia.
According to him, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues its efforts to evacuate all our citizens who wish to leave, both the State of Israel and the Islamic Republic of Iran, where the situation is even more difficult.
The State Secretary said that it can be expected that our country will continue to safely return home to every citizen who wishes to return to Serbia in the coming days.
