Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić met today on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting in Taormina with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism of Malta Ian Borg.
Đurić expressed his gratitude to Malta for its principled support to Serbia in the process of European integration, emphasising that Serbia’s European path is a strategic priority.
The interlocutors concluded that it is necessary to deepen bilateral cooperation, particularly in the field of economy, and underlined the importance of continuous political dialogue and cooperation in order to strengthen the overall relations between the two countries.
Given the growing interest of citizens of both countries in mutual visits, the great potential for enhancing cooperation in the field of tourism was also highlighted.
