Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Aleksandra Sofronijević met today with a delegation of the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB), led by Vice-Governor Tomáš Boček, to discuss the possibility of this financial institution helping Serbia in the rehabilitation of the local road network.

Sofronijević highlighted the importance of rehabilitating local roads, which make up 70% of the country’s road network, adding that they are of great importance for balanced regional development and improving the country’s demographic picture, as well as the development of tourism and attracting investors.
Boček recalled that the CEB finances some of the capital social projects in Serbia, adding that it will continue to support the country in this area.
