Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Milica Đurđević Stamenkovski held talks today with Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China Wu Xiuzhang on enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest, particularly regarding the improvement of the Social Security Agreement.

The meeting also addressed the strengthening of cooperation in the field of labour and employment, bearing in mind that a large number of people from the PR of China are employed in Serbia and vice versa.
The Minister stated that the aim of this cooperation is to further define and protect the positions and rights of these individuals.
Đurđević Stamenkovski pointed out that with €7.2 billion in trade, China is Serbia’s largest foreign trade partner and the biggest investor in the country, expressing confidence that the cooperation will remain fruitful in the future.
