Minister of Justice Nenad Vujić met today with Minister of Justice of the Kingdom of Spain Félix Bolaños to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of justice, the exchange of experiences in combating organised crime and corruption and the confiscation of assets derived from criminal offences.

The meeting, attended by representatives of the Serbian judiciary, also covered the enhancement of Serbia’s legal framework in line with European standards. Experiences were shared regarding the digitalisation of the judiciary and the professional development of judicial personnel.
The excellent cooperation between Serbia and Spain in the field of international legal assistance was highlighted, along with a shared commitment to its further improvement.
Vujić expressed his gratitude to his Spanish counterpart for Spain’s long-standing support in implementing key activities set out in the revised Action Plan for Chapter 23.
