On the sidelines of the 9th UNECE International Public-Private Partnerships Forum, which is being held at the Hilton Hotel, the two officials discussed the effects, impacts and positive factors of public-private partnerships in Serbia and the region.
Mesarović emphasised that Serbia has 306 public-private partnership projects and is a regional leader in the number and quality of public-private partnerships and attracting foreign investment.
The total value of all public-private partnerships is more than €10 billion, she said.
The Deputy Prime Minister expressed her satisfaction that Serbia was chosen to host such a major event, which is another confirmation that the country is developing in the right direction.
This gathering is proof that Serbian experts and projects are recognised as examples of best practices in public-private partnerships in the region, said Mesarović.
