At today’s session, the government adopted the Conclusion instructing the Ministry of Education to take all necessary measures, within its legally established competencies and without delay, to amend the School Year Calendar.
The amendments are necessary to compensate for missed school days and work in the educational process, which were not conducted due to the interruption of the teaching process for primary and secondary school students.
The government also adopted the Decree Establishing the Regional Development and Entrepreneurship Development Support Programme, which is implemented through a standardised set of services delivered by accredited regional development agencies in 2025.
The implementation of the Programme enables strengthening the capacities of local self-government units, as well as entrepreneurship in Serbia.
The Law on Regional Development stipulates a minimum number of agencies for each of the five regions – Vojvodina, Šumadija and Western Serbia, Southern and Eastern Serbia, Kosovo and Metohija and Belgrade.
At the session, the government also passed the Regulation on the Establishment of the Support Programme for the Development of Women’s Entrepreneurship in Rural Areas in 2025, with an allocated budget of RSD 50 million.
This will enable additional employment opportunities for women, primarily in rural and less developed areas.
Furthermore, the cabinet adopted the Resolution appointing Police General Dragan Vasiljević as Police Director. Vasiljević has so far served as Police Acting Director.
At the session, the Conclusion was also passed defining the criteria for the Take a Receipt and Win 2025 prize game, the new round of which begins on 1 May. All fiscal receipts issued from 1 January 2025 onwards, regardless of value, are eligible for entry.
This year’s prize fund includes five apartments in Belgrade, in the Zemunske Kapije neighbourhood, with a total value of €1.2 million. These are three-bedroom duplex apartments, each with a surface area of 91 square metres.
The prize fund also includes 10 Fiat Grande Panda cars, five of which are electric and five hybrid.
