In a meeting with heads of missions of EU countries in Belgrade, Dulic-Markovic stressed that the process of Serbia’s European integration must not be brought into question and that the continuation of talks is Serbian government’s main priority.
She said that Serbia is preparing an action plan in a move to end cooperation with the Hague tribunal with assistance from the EU, which is a precondition for removing obstacles that caused negotiations with the EU to stop.
Speaking on the inherited international legal continuity of the state union, Dulic-Markovic informed ambassadors that the process of transferring jurisdictions from state union bodies is going as planned and that institutions are functioning without any disturbance.
She thanked Austria for efforts it made while this country presided over the Union so that the Western Balkans, and thus Serbia as well, are kept at the centre of attention as well as for efforts to formulate concrete policies that would be of use to Serbia, such as visa facilitations.
