Zero inflation in June

The Serbian Ministry of Finance has said that expected rate of inflation in June inflation amounted to 0%, which is a record low monthly inflation rate in the last nine years.
Two consecutive price drops of fuel and active measures of the Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) impacted on the reduction of June’s total inflation in Serbia, like the Ministry had announced earlier.
This trend is expected to continue in months-to-come, which would result in an annual single-digit inflation rate, the Ministry said.
