Head of the Coordinating Centre for Kosovo-Metohija Sanda Raskovic-Ivic said today in talks with Head of the European Parliament delegation for South East Europe Doris Pack that ethnic-Albanians in Kosovo-Metohija have been offered full autonomy of the highest degree.
A statement by the Coordinating Centre says that Raskovic-Ivic acquainted members of the delegation led by Doris Pack with elements of the platform of the Serbian negotiating team which is based on the formula “more than autonomy, less than independence”.
Rskovic-Ivic pointed out the need to hold new elections in Serb communities in the province because the coalition “Povratak” has lost its mandate, she warned that it necessary to elect new representatives of the local self governments of municipalities.
Commenting on the boycott of interim institutions of Kosovo-Metohija, she said that Serbs will take part in the work of the institutions when they have full guarantees that they will not be marginalised or treated merely as political décor in those institutions, reads the statement.
