Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Ivana Dulic-Markovic said today, commenting on recent statements which provoked controversy regarding future relations between the Serbian government and the EU, that the Serbian government’s firm commitment to European integration remains unchanged and membership in the EU is still Serbia’s top priority.
In a written statement Dulic-Markovic said that as Deputy Prime Minister she will make efforts to secure conditions for continuing internal reform, and remove obstacles which are blocking Serbia’s path to the EU.
I am convinced that while trying to realise these aims, keeping in mind above all our own responsibility, we will continue to work together with European and other international partners, reads the statement by Dulic-Markovic.
