Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Ivana Dulic-Markovic talked today with head of the European parliament delegation Doris Pack and pointed out that the Serbian government's main goal is to continue negotiations on the stabilisation and association agreement.
Dulic-Markovic said that Serbia is at a crossroads - whether to continue reforms that would lead it to Europe or go back to the past. She said that it is of utmost importance to send a clear message to international partners that Serbia will not give up European integration as its main goal.
She pointed out that the precondition for that is to remove obstacles that caused the suspension of negotiations with the European Union and to continue launched reforms with the consensus of democratic forces in the country.
Doris Pack told the Serbian Deputy Prime Minister that the international community expects a clear signal from Serbian democratic forces as to how the EU can help Serbia solve its current problems.
At the same time, she called on Serbia's officials to visit the European parliament more often.
