The Serbian Privatisation Agency has stated that the tender commission for the sale of 70% of the socially-owned capital of the company Labudjnaca, agricultural producer from Vajska, accepted the tender list at its second session held on 19 June according to which the company “MK Commerce” from Novi Sad has been declared top bidder. The company TP “Jabuka” from Belgrade ranked second, while the consortium of companies “Jugotrade”, “Ehom” and “Seleccolor” from Belgrade ranked third.
Basic elements of the offer of the first-ranked bidder include a purchase price of €2.5 million, an investment programme worth €2,077,200 and unconditional compliance with minimum requirements of the social welfare programme.
A bid was also submitted by the company Home Art & Sales Services AG from Switzerland, but withdrew their bid after the deadline for withdrawing a bid was over.
After announcing the tender list, the Serbian Agency for Privatisation and the first ranked bidder are to enter a period of negotiations to finalise the details of the sale contract. If negotiations are concluded successfully, the Agency will sign the final contract with the buyer within a period of 30 days.
