The Serbian Statistics Office has said that average salary in the Republic of Serbia in April 2006 amounted to 30,572 dinars, which is nominally 4.1% up against March and 2.56% more month-on-month in real terms.
April’s take-home salary stood at 20,887 dinars, which is 3.95% and 2.41% more in nominal and real terms respectively. Compared with the same month of 2005, the April salary rose 21.49% nominally and 6.2% in real terms.
Serbia’s average salary in the January-April 2006 period rose 25.7% and 9.69% in nominal and real terms respectively against the same period of 2005.
The average salary paid out from January to April 2006 nominally rose 25.75% nominally or 9.73% in real terms against the same period last year, the Statistics Office has said.
