Stojkovic and Grasso shared their experiences regarding the setting up of special prosecutor networks with courts at its core, one of those being the Court of Appeal, as well.
We have brought order into this area with laws on fighting organised crime, but the problem remains in respect to their implementation in practice and enabling conditions for prosecution and courts to perform their duties freely, stressed Stojkovic.
He pointed out that Serbia now needs assistance to improve the competence and efficiency of the judiciary in practice.
The collocutors also discussed assistance in drafting the necessary by-laws to regulate the work of the prosecution and said they are willing to continue the satisfactory cooperation from the previous period.
