Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Marko Đurić met today in Rome with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Anita Orbán.
Đurić expressed his expectation that Serbia and Hungary will continue in the coming period to foster exceptionally good neighbourly relations, which have reached the highest level in modern history.
The Minister emphasised that Serbia highly appreciates Hungary’s continued support for its European integration and confirmed that the European path is Serbia’s strategic commitment.
The head of Serbian diplomacy said that economic cooperation between the two countries is based on the continuous growth of trade in goods and services, the increasing volume of Hungarian investments in Serbia, and the successful implementation of joint infrastructure and energy projects of bilateral and regional importance.
