Serbian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Ivana Dulic-Markovic said that according to first estimates, nearly 220,000 hectares of land and 3,000 houses are reported flooded in Serbia.

The water level of the Tisa River in Hungary is growing and said that dikes on this river were enforced so that they can resist further water flood increase by 50 centimetres, the Minister said.
She also warned that the Sava River is on the growth near Sabac and that services in charge must be on alert as long as there is a danger from floods.
