Serbian Minister of Energy and Mining Radomir Naumov visited today lignite open pits and thermal plant Kostolac to see the consequences of extremely high water level of the Danube River there.
Naumov commended the workers in the mine and thermal plant and promised government support in repairing the flood damage.
The Minister also promised more environmental investment as well as other forms of support so as to build a stable energy system in Serbia.
The delegation of the Ministry of Energy and Mining also included Minister’s advisors Milutin Prodanovic, Aleksandar Vlajcic and Dejan Rajkovic.
