In a statement to Radio Television of Serbia (RTS), Vučević emphasised that, regarding this matter, Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces Milan Mojsilović had a conversation yesterday with KFOR Commander, Major General Özkan Ulutaş, to whom he clearly conveyed our positions.
He also added that Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petković informed the representatives of the Quint countries about the significant attempt to destabilise the northern part of Kosovo and Metohija.
The Prime Minister stressed that the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija are under enormous pressure every day, noting that Priština is seizing property, apartments, and business premises in northern Mitrovica and arresting people daily, often based on accusations from 25 or 26 years ago.
Vučević highlighted that the Jadar project is an opportunity for Serbia, but that it is an open topic that will be discussed in the coming period.
"We will make a decision that is solely in the interest of Serbia, but nothing will be decided overnight," he reiterated, adding that expert opinions must be heard, and that the health of citizens and the environment must be considered before economic interests.
