Stojkovic opens renovated premises of Nova Varos Municipal Court

Serbian Minister of Justice Zoran Stojkovic opened today the renovated premises of the Nova Varos Municipal Court and said that now all judicial organs will be situated in one building, which is not the case in some other Serbian towns.
Stojkovic said that the Nova Varos municipality, together with the justice ministry, provided the necessary material conditions for the judges, prosecutors and magistrates to perform their duties normally.
He pointed out that he met with the local court president, judges, prosecutors and magistrates and discussed the work that has so far been done, as well as what remains to be done in future.
This is one of the better courts in Serbia, said Stojkovic and voiced hope that any problems with lengthy proceedings will soon be solved thanks to the improved working conditions.
Representatives of the local political and business community and the judiciary were also present.
Afterwards, Stojkovic proceeded to visit municipal courts in Priboj and Prijepolje where he met with the court president, judges, prosecutors and magistrates. He then visited the Uzice Municipal Court and held a working meeting with the court president, prosecutors, judges and magistrates of regional courts, prosecutor's offices and the Commercial Court.
