At today’s session, the government of the Republic of Serbia adopted a decision on the competences and scope of work of the deputy prime minister and ministers without portfolios in the new mandate of the government of Serbia.
A decision was made to assign Aleksandar Vulin, who serves as the Deputy Prime Minister, the responsibility of monitoring the status of projects within the purview of several ministries and special government organizations, in coordination with the President of the Republic. He will also propose measures to improve the cooperation of the Republic of Serbia with the BRICS countries, monitor the situation and propose measures to strengthen the ties of state authorities with the citizens of the Republic of Serbia in the diaspora.
Minister without portfolio Nenad Popović will be responsible for monitoring the situation, proposing measures and participating in the coordination of activities in the field of international economic cooperation, as well as the social position of the church in the country and abroad. In the future, Popović will also coordinate all activities aimed at the implementation of the project “Boiling Point Serbia”.
Minister without portfolio Tatjana Macura will monitor the situation, propose measures and participate in the coordination of activities in the field of gender equality, prevention of violence against women and economic and political empowerment of women. Macura will also participate in the coordination of the Council for the Prevention of Peer Violence and the Coordination Body for Gender Equality.
At today’s session, the minister without portfolio Usame Zukorlić is in charge of monitoring the situation, proposing measures and participating in the coordination of activities in the area of reconciliation, regional cooperation and social stability.
Minister without portfolio Đorđe Milićević will continue to perform duties from the previous mandate of the government - monitoring the situation, proposing measures and participating in the coordination of activities in the field of relations between the Republic of Serbia and the diaspora.
The same responsibilities from the previous mandate were assigned to Novica Tončev, in the area of monitoring the situation, proposing measures and participating in the coordination of activities in the area of improving the development of underdeveloped municipalities in the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
