During the tour of the Sava bridge, Vucevic said that this means that we have a direct connection of the Belgrade-Zagreb highway with the crossing at Sremska Rača and added that an integrated border crossing on the Serbian side is also important.
The Prime Minister stated that this is a big project that will make life easier for the citizens and expressed the hope that the Turkish partners, who are engaged in the execution of the works together with companies from Serbia and Republika Srpska, will respect the deadlines.
He announced the continuation of infrastructure works, which will be the dominant topic at tomorrow's All-Serbian Assembly.
According to him, we should discuss things that can improve people's lives, safer roads, higher salaries and pensions, preservation of our cultural identity, but also peace in the region.
Republika Srpska Prime Minister Radovan Višković said that the bridge over the Sava River at Rača is an imposing structure.
This is what we agreed on all these years. I am more than proud of this project. In a way, this is our lifelong, historical desire to connect Banjaluka and Belgrade by highway, Višković said.
Serbian member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović said during a tour of the works on the section of the highway from Kuzmin to Sremska Rača and the bridge on the Sava that she is proud of the capacity of Serbia, which is able to have ambitious projects, which are also important for Republika Srpska.
We are proud every time we see that Serbia achieves great success, and we know that this is always the success of the Republika Srpska, pointed out Cvijanović and added that the beginning of the All-Serbian Assembly is marked by a tour of the construction site and the bridge, as well as the highway that connects Serbia and Republika Srpska.
We had the opportunity to learn about Serbia's plans in terms of construction, infrastructure and traffic, and we are looking forward to the fact that some of the projects imply a connection with the Republika Srpska, she said.
Cvijanović reminded that many plans were implemented in the previous period, as well as that the governments of Serbia and Republika Srpska launched large energy projects.
There are many activities that connect us and many activities that we plan to implement in the coming period, she concluded.
The delegations of Serbia and Republika Srpska visited the works on the Sava bridge and the highway section from Kuzmin to Rača, which is being built and financed by Serbia. Serbia and Republika Srpska will be connected by the highway Belgrade-Kuzmin-Rača.
The tour was also attended by the Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure in the Government of Serbia, Goran Vesić, who informed the guests from Republika Srpska about the works that are in progress and that are yet to be expected.
