Labus introduced the Czech delegation with Serbia’s EU integration process and pointed out that the Serbian negotiating team is completely ready for a new round of negotiations with the EU scheduled for tomorrow. The topics which will be discussed tomorrow include free movement of labour, formation of institutions which will be in charge of implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) as well as peaceful resolution of disputes which may occur as a result of SAA application, Labus said.
Labus and Rychetský agreed that the integration of the whole region with the EU guarantees stability and economic prosperity of the Balkans.
In today’s meeting, the Czech delegation confirmed Czech Republic’s full support to Serbia’s EU integration and offered their technical support in further talks with the EU.
The Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and the Czech delegation also discussed the approaching independence referendum in Montenegro and overall political and economic climate in the country.
