The Serbian government decided on March 16 to launch a tender for privatisation advisor for the telecommunication sector. The invitation to submit offers was sent to 19 companies, namely: ABN AMRO Bank N.V; BNP Paribas; CA~IB Corporate Finance Beratungs Ges.m.b.H; Credit Swiss First Boston (Europe Limited); Deutsche Bank; Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein; EPIC Financial Consulting; Ernst & Young; Goldman Sachs International; HSBC Bank USA - London branch; JP Morgan; Lazard Freres; Lehman Brothers; Merrill Lynch International; Morgan Stanley; Nomura; Raiffeisen Investment; Rothschild; and UBS.
The decision on the privatisation advisor will be made within 15 days. The commission which will make this decision comprises Vladislav Cvetkovic, Branislav Zec, Milorad Bjelopetrovic and Zoran Branovacki.
