On the initiative of the Consulate General of Serbia in New York, and in association with the Department for Public and Cultural Diplomacy, a competition of children's works (essays and poems) was announced, in which ten of them won, three from the USA and seven from Serbia.
Dacic presented the winners of the competition with a book about Nikola Tesla and he awarded the titles of "Tesla Ambassadors" to American journalist Michael Freund, Greek Ioanna Batsialou and Consul General of Serbia in New York Vladimir Bozovic.
