Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali attended today the presentation of new postage stamps promoting the International Specialised Expo, to be hosted by Belgrade and Serbia in 2027.
At a gathering held at the Postal Museum, Mali pointed out that the stamps promoting Expo 2027 will be found on shipments from Serbia going abroad, which number more than one million per year, as well as on most shipments in domestic traffic, of which there are also around million annually.
He underlined that Expo 2027 will be an indicator of everything Serbia has to offer and announced large investments.
Motifs of regular stamps for the period 2024-2027 are based on a reprint of the stamps issued by the then Association of Yugoslav Posts on the occasion of the Expo 1967 international exhibition in Canada.
The motifs on the stamps are related to space exploration, so even today they best represent the idea of an international exhibition as a promotion of new technologies, ideas and a positive future.
