First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said today, after an extraordinary session of the National Security Council, that there is no immediate knowledge that Serbia is threatened by a terrorist attack.
Dacic underlined that the security situation in Serbia is stable, regardless of all the challenges we have faced, bearing in mind the situation in the region, in Kosovo and Metohija, the terrorist act in Moscow and various conflicts that exist around the world.
He emphasised that the Ministry of the Interior, the Serbian Army and all other security services are taking all precautionary measures and preventive actions in order to avert any possibility of a terrorist act or disturbance of public order and peace, with the danger to people's lives.
In short, that was the topic of today's session of the National Security Council, Dacic said and added that there is currently no information that a citizen of Serbia was killed in the terrorist attack in Moscow. According to the information available, one of our citizens was at the event where the attack took place.
