A DVD was screened containing eight of Randjelovic's documentary films under a joint title "Days Made of Fear", relating events in Kosovo-Metohija from 1998 to 2005.
This DVD edition has just been published in the USA, thanks to the support of interested individuals. It was officially presented to the public on February 24 this year, at the National Press Club in Washington, and the Serbia-Montenegro's embassy in Washington, together with the relevant academic institutions in the USA and Canada, also took part in the distribution of the DVD.
Apart from Randjelovic, participants in the discussion that took place after the screening were Teodosije, Bishop of Lipljan and prior of the High Decani Monastery, and member of the official delegation of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) Miroslav Starovlah.
Bishop Teodosije spoke of his impressions after meetings that the SPC delegation attended in New York, as well as the current situation in the Monastery of High Decani and other Serbian holy objects in Kosovo.
It was also said that the dire state of human rights of Serbs and other non-ethnic Albanians in the province should be given better media coverage and actual occurrences in the region more accurately reported. This way, appropriate and more long-lasting solutions to these issues could be found.
Following the panel discussion, Bishop Teodosije sincerely thanked Ninoslav Randjelovic for making valuable films which are a long-lasting testimony to a period of hardship and the brave men who marked it.
Randjelovic's films are available on the
Serbian government's web site as well as on the site
www.daysmadeoffear.com.
Within the special programme, 13 documentaries were shown and 500 panel discussions held on the topic of conflict regions worldwide, from Abhasia, Georgia, Chechnya and the Balkans to the issue of the Muslim-American conflict.
