Vucevic pointed out that bilateral relations have been developed in all fields and that there is a mutual effort for their further improvement.
According to him, Serbia's strategic long-term commitment is to maintain the status of a militarily neutral state, as well as to continue working on improving relations in the field of defence with all states and international organisations, in accordance with national interests and foreign policy priorities.
The Deputy Prime Minister also pointed out that the situation in Kosovo and Metohija causes deep concern for Serbia, especially when it comes to the safety of the Serbian population in the north of the province, due to a series of extremely irresponsible moves by the temporary Pristina institutions.
He added that the Serbian side remains committed to the dialogue process as the only way to resolve all issues with the goal of a better life for all citizens in Kosovo and Metohija.
Speaking about cooperation in the field of defence with the Federal Republic of Germany, Vucevic stated that there is room for its quantitative and qualitative improvement in mutual interest.
Pistorius highlighted the importance of stability in the region and referred to the improvement of cooperation in areas of common interest. He underlined that in bringing the Western Balkans closer to the EU, it is necessary to maintain peace and the absence of crises.
