Third Food and Wine fair opens

Director of the Serbian Agency for SMEs Development Mirjana Jovanovic opened the third Food and Wine Fair in Knjazevac today. The fair has been organised by the Regional Agency for Economic Development and Entrepreneurship, the Timok Chamber of Commerce and the international organisation Community Habitat Finance (CHF).
Jovanovic said that the success of the event, which has acquired an international character this year, is shown by the fact that the initiative for its organisation came from representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs, and also that it offers an opportunity for their speedy development.
At the three-day manifestation hosting 47 exhibitors form several Serbian cities, as well as the Bulgarian city of Vidin and the Czech city of Brno, visitors will be able to see and taste high-quality products, especially wine, prosciutto ham and cheese.
The participants were welcomed by Director of CHF Serbia Brian Holst, President of the Knjazevac municipality Gradimir Zivkovic and President of the Timok Chamber of Commerce Bratislav Djordevic.
