The goal of adopting this document is to support pro-natalist policies in local governments, considering the general goal of sustainable demographic development, which is stationary population, i.e. a population in which the next generations will be the same size as the existing ones.
Last year, pro-natalist policies and projects in 52 local governments were financed with the same funds, with RSD 400 million.
The government adopted the Conclusion on the adoption of the Programme for the allocation and use of subsidies and transfers intended for tourism development projects in 2024, since this industry represents an extremely important component of the national economy.
The government adopted the Regulation on the declaration of the "Radan" Nature Park, which increases the total area under protection and approaches the percentage provided for in the Action Plan for the implementation of the Nature Protection Programme.
Government members also adopted two decisions on the declaration of a cultural monument, which refer to the synagogue in Apatin and the tombstone of József Kiss in Vrbas.
The synagogue complex in Apatin represents the last preserved trace of the Jewish community of that place, which was a significant driving force and catalyst in the development and modernisation of life in the economic and cultural sense.
The government also adopted the Decision on establishing the tombstone of József Kiss in Vrbas as a cultural monument that preserves the memory of this famous personality, designer and builder, as well as his visionary role in the construction of the Great Backa Canal, a hydrotechnical undertaking that reshaped the appearance of today's Backa and enabled its conversion from a swamp to an area acceptable and suitable for life.
