Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Milos Vucevic emphasised today, in a meeting with outgoing Ambassador of Slovakia to Serbia Fedor Rosocha, the determination to further improve and intensify overall relations and cooperation with Slovakia in the field of defence in the coming period.

Vucevic emphasised that the continuation of meetings at the highest level, as well as the agreement and signing of the bilateral military cooperation plan for 2024, are of great importance for strengthening cooperation in the field of defence.
He underlined that Serbia appreciates Slovakia's principled position on the issue of non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of the so-called Kosovo.
Rosocha confirmed that the traditionally good relations of the two countries are a quality basis for further development of overall bilateral cooperation, with the belief that they will continue to develop in accordance with common interests.
