First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic pointed out today that the activities of honorary consuls of Serbia abroad have an immeasurable contribution to the country's foreign policy priorities.
At the opening of the Third Conference of Honorary Consuls of the Republic, Dacic pointed out that Serbia today has the largest number of honorary consuls in its history – as many as 100 and that on all continents.
Your activities have an immeasurable contribution to the realization of our foreign policy priorities, the most important of which is the defense of territorial integrity and sovereignty, that is, the preservation of Kosovo and Metohija as part of Serbia, Dacic said.
He added that on our path to full membership in the European Union, improvement of good neighborly relations and regional cooperation, but also in the overall development of bilateral relations, both with the most important actors of international politics and with our many traditional friends around the world, influence and help honorary goats of inestimable importance.
Also, diplomatic activities are increasingly directed towards the promotion of economic potentials and the attraction of foreign investments, said Dacic, expressing his belief that the consuls will promote the potentials of the Serbian economy and market.
