First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus Constantinos Kombos expressed their satisfaction today with the bilateral relations of the two countries based on firm friendship, mutual trust, the historically confirmed closeness and the solidarity of the two peoples.

During the talks, mutual support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia and Cyprus was expressed, with an emphasis on the necessity of fundamental respect for this key principle in international relations.
The need for more intensive communication and mutual regular exchange of information at all levels on the most important issues for the two countries was highlighted.
The Serbian side expressed its special gratitude to Cyprus for its continuous support to the European integration process of the Republic of Serbia.
The two sides concluded that today’s Council for Cooperation between Serbia and Cyprus confirmed the strong commitment of the two countries to further strengthening of their all-round cooperation.
