Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali stated that approximately 240,000 students of state and private universities, academies and colleges in Serbia can as of today apply for a new student card on the portal zsk.trezor.gov.rs.
The card will also be payment card and will allow numerous discounts and benefits.
At the Ministry of Finance, Mali met with Minister of Education Slavica Djukic Dejanovic, Director of Postal Savings Bank Bojan Kekic and representatives of the student organization SKONUS, and after the meeting announced that RSD 500 would be paid to the cards, so that they would be active immediately.
The Deputy Prime Minister stated that with them, students will be able to get a 20 percent discount on train tickets, a 10 percent discount on Air Serbia plane tickets, discounts in bookstores, libraries, bishops, cultural institutions, service and catering establishments, that is, with all partners who will be involved in the project.
He said that the registration of students started today at noon, while the deadline for registration is unlimited.
Postal Savings Bank will open free current accounts for all students, issue cards for free and will not charge for mobile banking.
