Intensification of cultural cooperation between Serbia, Cuba

The goal of this document, which was signed by Director of the National Library of Serbia Vladimir Pistalo and Ambassador of Cuba to Serbia Leyde Ernesto Rodríguez Hernandez, is to improve the cooperation of these institutions and the exchange of experience and knowledge in the field of librarianship, as well as library materials for the common benefit.
Gojkovic pointed out that at today's meeting with the Minister of Culture of Cuba, an agreement was reached on joint work on improving and strengthening ties in the field of culture and establishing more intensive cooperation between related institutions.
The officials also pointed out that relations between Serbia and Cuba are based on mutual support in important national issues, based on the commitment of both countries to the values of freedom, independence and sovereignty.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasised Serbia's commitment to friendly relations with Cuba, expressing gratitude for the principled respect for international law and support for Serbia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as our country's positions in international organisations.
Alonso Grau conveyed the solidarity of the government and people of Cuba with the Serbian people, adding that that country supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia, that is, it provides support in the matter of Kosovo and Metohija, and that it will continue to follow that path.
