The purchase price was €4.075 million, with an investment programme worth €2 million; apart from the minimum obligation from the company’s social welfare programme, the buyer also unconditionally accepted additional obligations regarding the social programme, reads the statement.
In line with the tender requirements, four companies submitted their bids before the final deadline on December 2, 2005, namely "Alpine Mayreder Bau GmbH" from Austria, “Betonut” from Hungary, the Consortium: “Putevi Uzice”, “Novi Pazar-Put”, “Granit Pescar” and “Putevi Kipar”, and "Strabag" from Austria.
At the second session, held on February 8, the commission appointed to monitor the sale of the 70% of the socially owned capital of "Putevi Cacak", unanimously accepted the results of the tender and approved the tender list according to which "Strabag" from Austria was declared the top ranked bidder and the Consortium: “Putevi Uzice”, “Novi Pazar-Put”, “Granit Pescar” and “Putevi Kipar” the second ranked. “Betonut” from Hungary and "Alpine Mayreder Bau GmbH" from Austria were declared the third and the fourth ranked bidders, concludes the statement.
