Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica expressed sorrow today at the death of Slobodan Milosevic, formerly president of Serbia and Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, and offered his condolences to the Milosevic family and the Socialist Party of Serbia, whose president he was.
“Our nation respects the tradition of putting aside politics and all other differences in moments like these,” said Kostunica.
He added that the Serbian government will ask for a detailed report from the Hague Tribunal on this tragic event.
