Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali talked today with new Minister of Finance and Treasury of Bosnia and Herzegovina Srdjan Amidzic about the possibilities for further cooperation between the two countries.
The two officials discussed Serbia’s experiences, especially in the sector of tax benefits and e-fiscalisation, which Bosnia and Herzegovina could use to strengthen its financial system.
He said that other topics discussed were infrastructure projects, with a special focus on the infrastructure and facilities that will be built within the complex for the organisation of the specialised exhibition Expo 2027, to be held in Belgrade.
Belgrade won in a big competition and this is a great chance for companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Srpska and the entire region, because apart from the Expo, we are also building a large National Stadium, a large number of hotels and auxiliary facilities, said Mali, noting that Belgrade also expects the arrival of representatives of more than 120 countries to attend Expo 2027.
Amidzic also praised Serbia's progress in the digitalisation of fiscal processes, but also assessed Serbia's experience in introducing VAT refunds on the purchase of the first real estate as valuable, as an aid to citizens.
