At an extraordinary press conference at the Palace of Serbia, Petkovic informed the domestic and international public about everything that happened during the conflict in Banjska and announced the reason why the "Kosovo police" refused to allow EULEX to participate in investigative operations after the tragic events.
The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija pointed out that the "Kosovo police" hid from EULEX the objective, independent and professional investigation of the mentioned evidence.
He noted that Serbia obtained reliable information, evidence, photographs and statements of protected witnesses about what happened on 24 September in Banjska.
Those are statements that were additionally confirmed by a polygraph that Bojan Mijailovic, father of two children, husband and son, was killed cold-bloodedly and brutally after he was slightly wounded, fell to the ground and surrendered, he said and added that Mijailovic in such a helpless state was shot in the head by the "Kosovo police".
Petkovic emphasised that the Office for Kosovo and Metohija has all the evidence and protected witnesses, who are ready to identify all Albanian killers who participated in the brutal killing of Serbs in Banjska.
We have evidence that professional killers from terrorist camps were among those ranks. An order was sent not to return until they had killed all the Serbs. The idea was to clear the entire area of the Serbs, the Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija said.
According to him, this is why Serbia's request to form an independent commission and for international experts to examine the evidence together with Serbian pathologists and perform autopsies on the bodies of the murdered Serbs is crucial.
