Minister of Economy Slobodan Cvetkovic met today with representatives of the European Investment Bank (EIB), including Head of the Western Balkans Unit Kadir Bahcecik and Head of Regional Representation for Western Balkans Alessandro Bragonzi.
On that occasion, Cvetkovic pointed to the good cooperation with this financial institution, and added that he expects it to be continued in the future.
According to him, more than 110 million in funds of the European Investment Bank, which will be placed through the Development Fund, will be an additional impetus, will stimulate the growth of the private sector and increase economic activities.
The minister pointed out the great interest of the economy in more favourable capital, as well as the importance of small and medium-sized enterprises for the functioning of the entire economy, which is invaluable.
Representatives of the European Investment Bank expressed their readiness to provide financial support, which will further strengthen the Serbian economy.
