A member of the Council for Kosovo-Metohija Ninoslav Randjelovic, who is also author and producer of documentaries on the suffering of Serbs and other non-ethnic Albanians in Kosovo-Metohija, entitled "Diplomacy of the Heart", said that his films show convincing evidence that standards in Kosovo-Metohija have not been fulfilled, that the return of the displaced is obstructed and promises to rebuild destroyed houses and monasteries are to a great degree unkept.

The distribution of documentary DVD films on the hardships of Serbs and other non-ethnic Albanians in Kosovo-Metohija began last week in Washington, organised by the Serbia-Montenegrin embassy. The films concern events in 1998, then during the NATO bombing, as well as those in September 2005.
"Now that official negotiations on the future status of the province have begun and the key issues being discussed are those of human rights and standards, I think it is the right time to try to do what we have not been doing enough of these past years, that is to acquaint the world with the real life in the field and let it see the actual problems in the region which remaining Serbs and other non-ethnic Albanians are faced with", said Randjelovic in a statement to the Voice of America radio station.
Randjelovic believes that the domestic and international public are interested in these facts on the ground, but added that the documented testimonies on life in the province must be presented to the public through a more intensive and well-devised media campaign.
According to Randjelovic, this task must not be assigned to individuals. If we speak through pictures, by way of truth and fact the chances are that we will be heard, he added.
The Serbian government helped the production of the DVD film "Diplomacy of the Heart" and presented Randjelic's films on a
separate web page.
