The Serbian Privatisation Agency said in a statement today that the tender commission for the sale of 70% percent of the socially-owned capital of the company “Pekarska Industrija” from Pancevo, has unanimously accepted the tender list at its second session held on March 1, according to which the company “Rubin” from Krusevac has been announced the top ranked bidder, “Vel Pitar” SA from Romania ranked second.
Bids for purchase of 70% of the socially-owned capital of the company “Pekarska Industrija” were offered by both companies. Basic elements of the offer of the first-ranked bidder, include a purchase price of €3,766,000, an investment programme worth €5,000,000 and unconditional compliance with minimum requirements of the social welfare programme.
After announcing the tender list, the Serbian Agency for Privatisation and “Rubin” are to enter a period of negotiations to finalise the details of the sale contract. If negotiations are concluded successfully, the Agency will sign the final contract with the buyer within the period prescribed.
