The Ministry of Economy, in cooperation with the Development Agency of Serbia and with the support of the project "Serbia and the EU - Equipment for the Economy", financed by the European Union, awards grants to micro and small enterprises, entrepreneurs and cooperatives, and the total value of grants amounts to approximately RSD 1.4 billion.
Companies can apply for assistance in the amount of up to 25 percent of the net value of the equipment, up to a maximum of RSD 5,000,000.
Mali expressed his gratitude to the EU for the help in such projects, which, he said, contribute to improving business, increasing efficiency and profitability, which leaves more money for investments in further development and salary increases.
Giaufret pointed out that the EU considers small and medium-sized enterprises to be the backbone of the Serbian economy, and that is why it has already invested €250 million in various types of aid to this sector.
We will continue to deal with this and we will be even more ambitious in order to help the Serbian economy get closer to that of Europe and get integrated into the single European market, said Giaufret.
