Economic development strategy for southern Serbia and Serb communities in Kosovo-Metohija

The economic team for Kosovo-Metohija and southern Serbia has announced the formation of a long-term strategy for the economic development of southern Serbia and Serb communities in Kosovo-Metohija, as well as the participation of this team in the economic part of negotiations on the future status of Kosovo-Metohija.
The team statement says that during his visit to Moscow, Head of the economic team Nenad Popovic, made efforts to gain international protection for the economic interests of Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija and to lay a solid foundation for the long-term economic development of Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija, as he did on his recent visit to Washington.
He also pointed out the importance of investing in the municipalities of Bujanovac, Medvedja and Presevo with the aim of resolving the long lasting economic problems of these areas, the statement reads.
