The Serbian parliament this evening unanimously adopted the Serbian government’s report on the course of negotiations on the political solution to the future status of Kosovo-Metohija, which was adopted at the government session on February 23.
The report was adopted with 226 members of parliament voting in favour of it, which is also the number of members present at the time of voting
Whips of parliament caucuses supported the Serbian government’s report during the time for debate, and stated that Serbia’s unified stand on the issue of Kosovo-Metohija is of the greatest importance.
Before that, parliament members were addressed by Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica and Serbian President Boris Tadic, who expressed satisfaction with the constructive comments and unified stand on the future status of the province which were expressed at the parliament session.
