Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture Maja Gojkovic and Director General of the National Centre for Film and Moving Images (CNC) of France Olivier Henrard signed today in Paris the Letter of Intent on cooperation between that centre and Ministry of Culture.

This act confirmed the mutual interest in expanding cooperation in the field of film and contemporary film culture between the two countries.
Gojkovic assessed that this is a significant step and that in this way the discussions that have been going on since last year have been concretised and that it represents an additional basis for looking at the possibilities for improving the work of the Film Centre of Serbia from examples of good French practice.
According to her, the possibility of more intensive cooperation in the field of film and other co-productions in the audio-visual sector is open, especially bearing in mind the incentives of Serbia.
Henrard noted that there are traditional relations with Serbia and numerous contacts with friends from our country and emphasized that the signing of this document is the starting point and that cooperation will be even more intense in the coming period between film experts, the Ministry of Culture and the French Film Centre.
