At a press conference, Labus said that Chapter eight on cooperation policies was completed, adding that the meeting also looked at the issue of establishing companies and their national status and rights, as well as the rights of employees, free circulation of services (especially in relation to transport) and of capital and monopolies.
He pointed out that rules of public procurement were discussed in detail at the meeting, as well as the possible influence of the SAA on Serbia's future accession to the World Trade Organisation.
According to Labus, further talks, scheduled for April, will depend on Serbia's cooperation with the Tribunal in The Hague.
Head of the Montenegrin negotiating team Gordana Djurovic said that the first day of the second round of talks with the EU ended in a constructive manner and that the talks were held in line with the dual-track principle.
She pointed out that modes of defining transition periods needed for the fulfillment of obligations are yet to be established in line with the state union member states' potential.
