During a tour of flooded households and areas in the territory of the municipality of Lazarevac, Mali praised this local self-government for its quick reaction, as well as for the fact that the municipal commission efficiently listed all the damage, so that the state knows how much money it needs to pay and in what way to help to people.
The state will do its best to pay this money as soon as possible, the Deputy Prime Minister said and added that the same applies to all places throughout Serbia.
According to him, the flood affected 64 residential buildings in Lazarevac, of which 24 were in the Junkovac municipality, seven of which were completely under water.
Mali appealed to all municipalities to engage their commissions and capacities and send the listed damage so that the government would make a decision and pay the money as soon as possible.
Every house that was damaged will be rebuilt. Also, this applies to all damaged greenhouses and livestock that died, and everything we need to do, we will do, he pointed out and repeated that the state is there and wants to hear what the problems are and to know how to reacts when such situations are involved.
